Press-Fit Reducing Tee for 3/4" and 1/2" Pipe
The Viega MegaPress tee joins three steel pipes using press-fit connections on every branch. It carries air or non-potable water at up to 200 psi and has an overall length of 4 17/32 in. The EPDM O-rings and zinc nickel-plated finish complete the factory-sealed joint.
Suited for Steel Press Systems.
Installers who work with the MegaPress steel range and need a reducing branch will use this fitting. It does not fit copper tube sizes, PEX, CPVC or threaded pipe, so projects requiring those materials need a different fitting.
Branch Size Decides the Fit
The critical dimension is the 1/2 in press-fit outlet on the reducing leg. If the branch line is 1/2 in MegaPress steel, this tee matches; if the branch is any other size or material, the fitting cannot be used.

Questions about this item
Which MegaPress tee size should I choose for a 3/4 in main line with a 1/2 in branch?
The 25330 model has 3/4 in press-fit ends on the run and a 1/2 in press-fit outlet, matching that exact reduction.
What does the 200 psi rating mean once the tee is installed in my system?
It is the maximum operating pressure the steel body and EPDM seals are designed to hold continuously in air or non-potable water service.
How does the press-fit connection standard limit what pipe I can use?
Each end requires compatible press-fit steel pipe and the correct Viega press tool; the joint cannot be threaded, soldered or used with other pipe materials.
