- HNBR O-ring seals air, fuel and natural gas lines
- Rated 125 psi and 180 °F for demanding service
MegaPressG 90° elbow for 1-1/2" pipe
This zinc-nickel plated steel fitting connects two 1-1/2 inch pipes at a 90 degree angle using press-fit ends. It is intended for air, fuel and natural gas distribution systems where a secure, flame-free joint is required. The HNBR O-ring provides the seal at each connection point.
Press-fit joint rated to 125 psi and 180°F
The press-fit interface eliminates threading or welding on site, reducing installation time and fire risk. System pressure must not exceed 125 psi and the media temperature must stay at or below 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Exceeding either limit can compromise the O-ring seal and the zinc-nickel coating.
Replaces threaded or welded 90° elbows in gas piping
Use this fitting when local code permits press-fit connections for fuel gas and a right-angle turn is needed on 1-1/2 inch steel pipe. It is not suited for systems operating above the stated pressure or temperature ratings, or for pipe sizes other than 1-1/2 inch.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 1-1/2" press-fit version or a different size for my gas line?
This elbow is a 1-1/2" press-fit fitting on both ends, designed for air, fuel and natural gas with an HNBR O-ring and zinc-nickel coating.
What does the 125 psi rating mean when the fitting is installed in a real system?
It is the maximum operating pressure the joint can hold at up to 180 °F, so the installed line must not exceed 125 psi during service.
How does the press-fit connection limit what pipe or tools I can use?
The press-fit ends require compatible steel pipe and a press tool approved for the MegaPressG system; no threading, welding or bolt holes are involved.
