The Viega ProPress 2915.1 copper reducer joins a 2 in copper tube to a 1 in press-fit connection in straight runs. It is built for potable water installations that require a secure, flame-free joint. The EPDM O-ring provides the seal at the press end.

Rated to 200 psi maximum operating pressure and 250 degrees F maximum operating temperature, it handles typical residential and commercial hot and cold water demands. Systems that exceed either limit will need a different fitting class.

Connection types decide fit

Side A is a 2 in FTG connection while Side B is a 1 in press-fit connection. If both ends of your pipe run require press-fit or both require FTG, this reducer will not match the joint style.
