ProPress 2918 reducing tee for potable water
The Viega ProPress 2918 is a copper reducing tee designed for potable-water systems. Three press-fit ends join 1-1/4 in, 1-1/4 in and 1 in copper tubing without solder or flame. An EPDM O-ring on each port seals against leaks. The fitting is rated for 200 psi maximum operating pressure.
Rolled center stop and press-fit ends speed
A rolled center stop sets tube insertion depth automatically, so the joint is consistent every time. Press-fit connections remove the need for torches, flux or open flame on site. Copper construction resists corrosion in domestic hot and cold water lines. Overall length is 3 13/16 in for compact routing.
Reducing branch drops from 1-1/4 in to 1 in
The single specification that decides fit is the branch size: one port reduces from 1-1/4 in to 1 in copper tube. If your design calls for a straight 1-1/4 in tee or a different reduction, this part will not match. Confirm the branch diameter before ordering.
