ViewSonic GE2-08B RGB Mouse Pad 31.5×12 in 14 Modes

The ViewSonic GE2-08B is a large rectangular mouse pad measuring 31.5 by 12.0 inches with a thickness of 0.3 inches. It provides a broad, smooth microfibre surface for both keyboard and mouse, making it suitable for gaming and office work. The pad is powered by USB and requires no driver installation.

Upgrade from standard pads

This pad replaces smaller, non-illuminated mats by adding 14 selectable lighting modes, including dynamic breathing effects and static monochrome colours, plus a power-off memory function that recalls the last mode used. The jump is worth it for users who want an extended, waterproof surface that resists liquid spills and cleans easily without fading. It is not for buyers who need a compact pad that fits a tight desk or who prefer a surface without any lighting.

Practical limits of USB-powered RGB lighting

The lighting is controlled by a single button: one press cycles colours, a double press adjusts brightness, and a three-second hold toggles power. Because the pad draws power from a USB port, brightness and effect complexity are limited to what that connection can supply. The rubber base keeps the pad stable during rapid mouse movements, but the fixed 0.3 inch profile cannot be adjusted for wrist height preferences.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 31.5 by 12.0 inch pad need?

Can the microfibre surface be washed if a drink spills on it?

Yes, the waterproof microfibre top can be rinsed with water and wiped clean without fading or damaging the RGB electronics.
