Who should use this and who should not

Facilities teams upgrading Promethean PRM-10, PRM-20, PRM-25, PRM-30, PRM-35 or PRM-45 mounts, or SMART UF55, UF55w, UF65 or UF65w projectors, can keep their current infrastructure. Buyers with different mount brands, ceiling mounts not listed, or projectors outside the four supported ViewSonic models cannot use this plate.

Questions about this item

Will this adapter plate let me mount a ViewSonic PJD5553LWS on my existing Promethean PRM-30 mount?

Yes, the plate is designed so select ViewSonic short-throw models including the PJD5553LWS fit directly onto Promethean PRM-10, PRM-20, PRM-25, PRM-30, PRM-35 and PRM-45 mounts.

How can I confirm the plate is installed correctly once I have bolted it up?

The plate should sit flush against the mount with all fixing points tight; the projector then locks onto the plate without wobble and the image aligns with the interactive whiteboard surface.

Does the box include the bolts needed to attach the plate to a SMART UF65w mount?

The package contains the black adapter plate only; mounting hardware for the existing Promethean or SMART arm is not supplied and must be sourced separately.
