Genuine OEM DMD/DLP Chip

This genuine OEM DMD/DLP chip is a replacement component for ViewSonic PJD5123 and PJD5112 projectors. It restores image projection when the original digital micromirror device fails. Buyers who need a different projector part or a complete projector unit cannot use this specific chip.

Tested for clear projection

Each chip is extensively tested at least three times to project a clear image with no dead pixels before shipment. This verification process reduces the chance of installing a defective component. The accessory includes no additional cables, mounting hardware or software beyond the chip itself.

Projector model constraint

The chip fits only the ViewSonic PJD5123 and PJD5112 models listed in the specifications. Installing it in any other projector will not work due to mechanical and electronic incompatibility. Photos shown are illustrative; the actual part may have cosmetic marks not visible in images.

Questions about this item

How often will the DMD chip need replacement in the PJD5123 projector?

The DMD chip is a solid-state component with no moving parts; it typically lasts the projector's lifetime unless physically damaged or affected by extreme heat.

What limits continuous operation of the PJD5112 projector with this chip installed?

The projector's lamp life and cooling system determine sustained use limits; the DMD chip itself does not degrade under normal thermal conditions.

Does the DMD chip increase fan noise or heat output in the PJD5123 during all-day use?

The chip operates passively and adds no measurable heat or noise; any increase comes from the projector's lamp and cooling fans, not the DMD.
