Genuine OEM DMD Chip for PJD6240

This genuine OEM DMD chip replaces the original component inside a ViewSonic PJD6240 projector. It arrives new and has been tested at least three times to confirm a clear image with zero dead pixels. Photographs are illustrative; the actual unit may show minor cosmetic marks in areas not affecting projection.

Suitable for owners restoring image quality

The part suits owners of a PJD6240 who need to restore a degraded picture caused by a failing DMD. It is not for users of other projector models, nor for anyone seeking a complete projector module, lens assembly, or colour wheel.

Direct replacement requiring disassembly

Installation means opening the projector chassis and swapping the DMD board, so basic electronics repair skill and anti-static precautions are needed. Common issues include misaligning the new chip, damaging the fragile ribbon cable, or leaving dust on the optical surface during reassembly.

Power on the PJD6240 and confirm the projected image is clear and completely free of dead pixels.
