Genuine OEM DMD/DLP Chip

This genuine OEM DMD/DLP chip is a direct replacement component for the ViewSonic PJD7526W projector. It is designed for technicians and owners who need to restore image quality after the original chip fails. The part arrives new and has been extensively tested to project a clear image with no dead pixels.

Replaces a failed DMD chip

The chip replaces the original DMD component when it develops stuck mirrors or dead pixels that degrade the projected image. The upgrade is worth it when the projector shows visible artefacts such as white or black dots across the picture. Installation requires disassembly of the optical engine and precise alignment of the new chip.

Limits of the DMD interface

The DMD interface relies on microscopic mirrors that can wear out over time, leading to permanent pixel defects. Dust contamination during installation can also cause new artefacts that the chip itself cannot correct. The component is specific to the PJD7526W model and will not fit other projector models or brands.
