The ViewSonic V108 Red is a wired USB gamepad with 17 buttons and an integrated touchpad. It targets PC gamers on Windows XP through 11, Steam users, PS3 owners, and Android device users with OTG support. The controller requires no driver installation on modern Windows versions.

Multi-mode wired build with vibration

The gamepad measures 16 L x 11 W x 5.2 H centimeters and weighs .51 pounds, using a fixed USB cable for power and data. It supports Xinput, Dinput, Android, and PS3 modes, plus vibration feedback, JD-SWITCH, and TURBO functions. An OTG adapter is needed for Android devices with Type-C or Micro-USB ports.

Plug-and-play convenience across platforms

The single-unit package delivers immediate use on supported platforms without extra software on Windows 7 and later. Windows XP requires a driver install. The controller does not support Xbox 360, Xbox One, Mac OS, or PS4, limiting buyers who need those ecosystems.

Questions about this item

What does the USB connection cap in practice for this V108 gamepad?

The wired USB link limits use to devices with a USB-A port or an OTG adapter; it supports Xinput, Dinput, Android and PS3 modes but does not work with Xbox 360, Xbox One, Mac OS or PS4.

What physical space does the 16 x 11 x 5.2 cm red gamepad need to fit or mount?

It measures 16 cm long, 11 cm wide and 5.2 cm high, weighing 0.51 pounds, so it sits on a desk or fits in a bag without any mounting hardware.

How is the V108 installed and what step do people get wrong?

Plug the USB cable into the PC, Android device with OTG adapter or PS3; the only driver install required is for Windows XP — all other supported systems recognise it instantly.
