Product identity

The ViewSonic VG2242 is a 22-inch Full HD monitor with a 1920 x 1080 VA panel running at 120 Hz. It is built for office professionals and home users who want fluid motion and wide 178° viewing angles in a compact flat screen.

Who it suits and who it does not

This display suits users who need ergonomic flexibility; the stand provides 40-degree tilt, swivel, rotate and height adjustment for all-day comfort. It is not for buyers who require Thunderbolt connectivity or a curved panel for immersive gaming.

Deciding specification

The single specification that decides fit is the 120 Hz refresh rate combined with a 4000:1 static contrast ratio on a VA panel. If your workflow demands higher refresh rates or different panel technology, consider other models.
