Designed for Surface USB-C 60W monitor

The ViewSonic VG245 is a 23.8" IPS display built to Microsoft Designed for Surface standards. It delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60Hz with 250 cd/m2 brightness and a 1000:1 static contrast ratio. USB-C provides video, audio, data and 60W charging over one cable for compatible Surface devices. The anti-glare panel suits office and home workspaces.

Check your device and desk before ordering

Confirm your laptop or tablet supports USB-C video output and USB Power Delivery to use the single-cable charging feature. If your device lacks USB-C video, the monitor also accepts HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort and VGA inputs. Verify you have space for the fully adjustable stand, which offers height, tilt, swivel and pivot movement. The quick-release stand includes an integrated client mount and cable management clips.

Build around a single-cable docking display

Connect a Surface or other USB-C laptop to handle video, audio, data and 60W power with one lead, freeing the device's own charger. The built-in hub adds three USB Type-A ports and one USB Type-B upstream port for peripherals such as keyboard, mouse or storage. Presets for Game, Movie, Web, Text and Mono let you tune the image without software calibration. The ergonomic stand lets you position the screen for sitting or standing workflows.

Questions about this item

Does the ViewSonic VG245 include the USB-C cable for 60 W charging, or do I need to buy one separately?

The monitor ships with a quick-release stand, integrated client mount and cable-management features in biodegradable packaging; the exact video and USB cables bundled are not detailed in the specifications.

Should I pick the HDMI 1.4 or DisplayPort input for the 1920 x 1080 60 Hz signal?

Both ports support the full 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60 Hz; choose DisplayPort for a locking connector or HDMI 1.4 if your laptop only has HDMI.
