24-inch Full HD IPS docking monitor

The ViewSonic VG2456 is a 24-inch Full HD IPS monitor with a built-in USB 3.2 Type-C dock that delivers up to 60W power. It includes a Gigabit Ethernet port and USB hub so a single cable handles video, data, network and charging for laptops, PCs, Macs or POS systems.

60 Hz panel with 5 ms response under continuous use

The 60 Hz IPS panel maintains 250 cd/m² brightness and 178° viewing angles during long sessions. A 5 ms grey-to-grey response keeps motion clear for office tasks, while the 1,000:1 static contrast and anti-glare coating stay consistent without the dynamic contrast inflating the numbers.

Quick-release stand with 40° tilt

The stand clicks into place without tools and offers 40° of tilt plus bi-directional pivot for portrait orientation. Ensure the host device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and 60W delivery over USB-C; otherwise the dock will pass video and data but cannot charge the connected laptop.

Questions about this item

How much power does the USB-C port supply while the VG2456 is on all day?

Which video cable must I already have to use the monitor at its native 1920 x 1080 resolution?

The display accepts HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort or USB-C video input; any one of those cables will drive the panel at its full 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Yes, the DisplayPort interface supports daisy-chain operation, allowing a second compatible display to be driven from the same source through the VG2456.
