24-inch 4K IPS monitor

The 24-inch IPS panel delivers a 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60Hz with 178° viewing angles, 1.07 billion display colours and 500 cd/m² brightness. Factory-calibrated 100% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 coverage plus Pantone validation make it suitable for colour-critical creative work. Anti-glare coating and full ergonomic adjustment support long studio or office sessions.

Thunderbolt 4 dual-port hub

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports provide up to 40 Gbps bandwidth for data, video and audio while delivering up to 100W power to a connected laptop. Daisy-chaining via Thunderbolt 4 enables a frameless dual 4K setup from a single host connection. Additional HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort and USB Type-A ports expand peripheral connectivity without extra docks.

Thunderbolt 4 bandwidth and power limits

The 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 4 link caps total throughput for combined display, data and charging traffic. Driving two 4K 60Hz streams alongside high-speed storage can saturate the available bandwidth. The 100W power delivery ceiling may not charge larger workstations under heavy load. HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort inputs remain limited to their own specification maximums.

Questions about this item

How long before the backlight on the VP2488-4K needs replacement?

The IPS panel uses WLED backlighting rated for typical monitor lifespans; no user-replaceable parts are involved.

What caps the sustained 4K 60Hz output over Thunderbolt 4?

The 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 4 link and the panel's 60Hz refresh rate set the ceiling for continuous 3840 x 2160 delivery.

How much heat and fan noise appear during all-day Thunderbolt 4 charging at 100W?

The monitor runs silently with passive cooling; surface warmth stays low thanks to efficient power delivery and IPS panel efficiency.
