A 27 inch 5K IPS monitor delivering 100% sRGB and 99% DCI-P3 colour with Pantone validation, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity providing up to 100W power delivery and daisy-chaining.
The ViewSonic VP2788-5K is a 27-inch IPS monitor with a 5120x2880 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. It delivers 1.07 billion colours, 99% DCI-P3 coverage and 100% sRGB accuracy with Pantone validation. A 500 cd/m² brightness and 2000:1 static contrast ratio support HDR400 performance. The anti-glare screen and 178-degree viewing angles suit colour-critical work.
Dual Thunderbolt 4 ports provide up to 40 Gbps data transfer and 100W upstream power delivery alongside 15W downstream charging. The interface enables daisy-chaining two 5K displays from a single source. Additional HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 inputs plus two USB-C ports expand device compatibility. An integrated USB hub simplifies accessory connections and mobile device charging.
A fully adjustable stand offers height, tilt and swivel movement for comfortable long sessions. The frameless cabinet reduces visual distraction in multi-monitor layouts. Cabinet colour is grey. Connectors include one HDMI, one DisplayPort in, two Thunderbolt 4 and two USB-C ports, all oriented for tidy cable routing. No DVI or Thunderbolt 2 support is present.

The panel is factory calibrated for 100% sRGB and 99% DCI-P3 with Pantone validation; periodic hardware recalibration using a colorimeter is recommended to maintain that accuracy over time.
The 75 Hz refresh rate is the panel's maximum at 5120x2880; sustained use does not lower this figure, but the 60 Hz HDMI 2.1 port cannot drive the full resolution at 75 Hz.
The monitor uses a fanless IPS/WLED design with 500 cd/m² brightness; typical surface warmth is low and there is no audible fan noise during continuous 100 W charging operation.
