27-inch 165Hz VA gaming monitor

The ViewSonic VX2718-P-MHD is a 27-inch Full HD display built for fast-paced gaming. A VA panel delivers a 4000:1 contrast ratio with 250 cd/m² brightness and 16.7 million colours. It runs at 165Hz over DisplayPort 1.2 with a 1ms MPRT response time. Adaptive-Sync support reduces tearing for smoother motion.

Suited to competitive FPS

The high refresh rate and low response time benefit twitch shooters and fast strategy titles. The flat, anti-glare screen works well in bright rooms and multi-monitor arrays. Creative professionals needing wide colour gamuts or factory calibration should look at specialised panels. Console gamers limited to HDMI 1.4 will not reach the maximum refresh rate.

1920 x 1080 resolution at 165Hz with 1ms MPRT

At 1080p the panel comfortably drives high frame rates on mid-tier graphics cards without demanding extreme GPU power. The 0.311mm pixel pitch keeps text readable at normal desk distance. The 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles preserve contrast across wide seating positions. Headroom ends when content or workflows require higher pixel density, HDR brightness or colour volumes beyond the standard sRGB range.
