Vandal Resistant Handset for Public Access
The Viking Electronics Hot-Line phone is built for unattended or high-traffic locations where standard handsets fail. Its 12 gauge 316 stainless steel panel and armored handset cable withstand deliberate abuse and harsh weather. Installers gain a flush-mount device that auto-dials a single programmable number up to 32 digits. The unit suits emergency points, entry gates and industrial corridors.
Analog Line Compatibility and Dialing Limits
Operation requires an analog PABX extension, key system port, Centrex line or CO line; digital or IP circuits are not supported. Two dialing modes exist: single-number mode stores one 32-digit entry, while multi-number mode stores five entries of up to 16 digits each. Both modes use touch tone or pulse signaling with a programmable pre-dial pause. Non-volatile memory retains settings without batteries.
316 Stainless Steel Faceplate and Sealed Keypad
The marine grade 316 stainless steel faceplate and matching screws resist salt spray and corrosion in coastal or chemical environments. An internally sealed keypad prevents moisture ingress that would disable lesser phones. Hex drive mounting screws and a zinc plated rough-in box with two .75 inch conduit knockouts complete the hardened installation. This construction decides whether the phone survives the site conditions.
