Emergency Handsfree Phone

The Viking VK-E-1600-45A is a line-powered emergency telephone built for public areas that must meet ADA requirements. It serves facilities needing a reliable handsfree unit that can automatically illuminate a "Call Connected" LED for hearing-impaired users and provide a Grade 2 Braille label for the visually impaired.

Marine Grade Stainless Steel

A 316 stainless steel chassis prevents corrosion in harsh environments, while an optional Enhanced Weather Protection version meets an IP66 ingress rating. The phone operates across an extended temperature range from -15°F to 130°F and mounts in one of nine available chassis styles or as a board-only configuration.

Non-Volatile Voice Announcer

The integrated digital announcer stores up to 16 seconds of voice memory without batteries, and the unit can dial up to five emergency numbers while cycling through backups on busy or no-answer conditions. Remote programming, central station monitoring that dials two numbers, and optional accessories such as a polling system or strobe light kit extend the phone's capability for managed safety installations.
