Viltrox NF-Z Nikon F to Z Mount Adapter

SKU CH-0G50-CF7AJ

Adapts Nikon F-mount lenses to Z-mount cameras with full electronic communication for autofocus, aperture control and VR stabilisation

  • Use Nikon F-mount lenses on Z-mount cameras with full electronic communication
  • Autofocus, aperture control and in-lens stabilization work through the adapter
  • EXIF data including focal length and aperture transfers automatically to the camera
  • Eye-AF and face-detection autofocus remain active with adapted lenses
  • Compact, durable construction provides a secure, precise fit for long-term use

Mount Compatibility

The Viltrox NF-Z adapter connects Nikon F-mount lenses to Nikon Z-mount camera bodies. It enables photographers to continue using existing F-mount glass on newer Z-series mirrorless systems while retaining full electronic communication between lens and camera.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your lenses are Nikon F-mount and your camera body uses the Nikon Z-mount before ordering. The adapter supports electronic aperture control, autofocus, EXIF data transmission, and lens-based vibration reduction, so confirm those functions are present on the specific lenses you plan to adapt.

Build and Operation

The adapter is constructed from high-quality materials for a secure, precise fit and long-term durability. Its compact form adds minimal bulk to the lens-to-body connection, and it operates passively without an external power requirement, drawing only the camera's normal power for electronic communication.

Questions about this item

Does the Viltrox NF-Z adapter come with any caps or tools, or do I need to buy them separately?

The adapter body is the only item included; front and rear caps or any mounting tools are not supplied and must be purchased separately.

Is there more than one version of the NF-Z adapter to choose from?

Only a single NF-Z model is offered; there are no alternative versions, firmware tiers or colour options listed for this adapter.

Will autofocus, vibration reduction and EXIF data work when I attach an AF-S Nikkor lens via this adapter?

Yes — the adapter maintains full electronic communication, so autofocus, in-lens VR, eye-AF, face detection and EXIF transmission all function with compatible AF-S and AF-P lenses.
