Ultra-slim MC UV filter for 52 mm threads
This 52 mm UV protection filter threads onto lenses with a matching front diameter. The multi-coated glass reduces ultraviolet haze while shielding the front element from dust, moisture and accidental scratches. Its ultra-slim frame avoids vignetting on wide-angle lenses, making it suitable for everyday carry on compatible optics.
Practical limits of screw-in filter use
The filter only fits lenses that have a 52 mm front thread; step-up or step-down rings are required for any other diameter. Stacking additional filters increases the risk of corner darkening, especially at wider focal lengths. UV absorption has no visible effect on digital sensors, so the primary benefit remains physical protection rather than image-quality improvement.

Questions about this item
Is the 52 mm size the right choice for my lens?
Choose the 52 mm version when your lens barrel or cap is marked Ø52 mm; it threads directly onto that diameter.
What does the ultra-slim frame do once the filter is on the camera?
The thinner ring reduces the chance of vignetting on wide-angle lenses and keeps the front element flush for easier cap use.
