Network Blu-ray duplicator for offices

The SharkNet-15T-BD-BK is a standalone duplicator that writes to fifteen targets simultaneously. It accepts Blu-ray, DVD and CD media and includes a 500GB hard drive for local image storage. Network connectivity lets users send jobs from any PC on the LAN without being near the tower.

USB 3.0 and network transfer limits

Files move to the internal drive over a USB 3.0 link or the Ethernet connection, so throughput depends on the local network and host performance. The 256M buffer helps sustain streams during high-speed burns, but the interface itself caps how fast source data can arrive.

Fifteen simultaneous targets decide fit

This unit writes to fifteen drives at once, making it suitable for batch production of optical discs. Operations that need fewer or more concurrent burns will find the target count mismatched to their workflow.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 15-target tower or a smaller model?

The SharkNet-15T-BD-BK supports 1 to 15 targets so you can run any batch size up to fifteen discs in one job.

What does the 14X BD-R speed mean for actual burn time?

14X BD-R is the maximum write rate for single-layer Blu-ray media; real-world time depends on the disc and the data size.

How does the USB 3.0 port affect transfer speed to the internal 500GB HDD?

USB 3.0 moves files to the 500 GB hard drive at up to 5 Gb/s, so large images load quickly before duplication starts.
