50-Inch Recessed Electric Fireplace

The Vitesse 50 inch electric fireplace installs recessed or wall mounted for a slim linear profile. It operates at 750 or 1500 watts and includes a remote with touch screen controls. Twelve flame colours, five speed settings and adjustable brightness run with or without heat. ETL certified with auto heat kill safety.

Suits Zone Heating and Flame Ambience

Buyers wanting supplemental heat up to 1500 watts and customisable flame effects will find this model practical. The 3.2 inch depth fits tight wall cavities and saves floor space. It is not for whole house heating, buyers needing higher BTU output, or installations requiring a built in log set or fuel burning realism.

Dual Wattage Heater with Flame Only Mode

The single specification that decides fit is the selectable 750 and 1500 watt heater combined with a flame only setting. This lets the unit provide visual ambience year round without adding heat. Confirm your circuit can support the chosen wattage and that the 50 inch width matches your opening.

Questions about this item

How do I recess-mount the 50 inch fireplace and what step is often missed?

Cut an opening matching the unit dimensions, secure the mounting brackets to wall studs, and remember to leave clearance for the 3.2 inch depth so the front sits flush with the finished wall.

What maintenance will the 50 inch electric fireplace need over time?

Dust the glass front and interior flame bed periodically with a soft cloth; the LED flame modules and 750/1500 W heater elements are sealed and have no user-replaceable parts.

What limit appears first when running the 1500 W heater continuously?

The auto-heat kill safety cuts power if internal temperatures exceed the ETL-approved threshold, so the thermal cutoff activates before any component overheats.
