Dual Lens Function

The Vivitar AP-TM10-US is a white dual lens attachment that combines 10X telephoto and macro functions in a single clip-on unit. It is built for smartphone photographers who want to pull distant subjects closer or capture small details without carrying separate accessories.

Suited For And Not

This lens suits users who value a lightweight, pocketable add-on that works with most phone models through a universal clip. It is not for photographers who need autofocus, electronic aperture control or a lens that mounts directly to a camera body.

Optical Specification

The optical construction uses 12 elements with multi-layer coating to reduce glare and distortion while delivering sharper images. A minimum focus distance of 150 to 500 millimetres and 8.6-degree angle of view define the working range for both telephoto and macro shooting.

Questions about this item

What is the 10X optical zoom range and the closest focus distance of the dual lens?

The lens provides 10X optical zoom and can focus as close as 8 inches (about 30 cm) for macro shots.

What size and weight does the clip-on lens add to a phone?

It weighs 5.12 oz and measures 3.9 x 7.3 x 7.3 inches, so it fits in a pocket without much bulk.

How do you attach the lens and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Clip the universal mount over the phone's main camera, then tighten the screw; the usual error is leaving the clip loose, which causes vignetting and blur.
