The Vivitar EN-EL15c is a rechargeable lithium-ion cell built to the EN-EL15 form factor. It serves as a higher-capacity substitute for earlier EN-EL15-type batteries. The unit is sold new and ready for use in compatible Nikon mirrorless and DSLR bodies.

The battery delivers a nominal 7.0 V and 2280 mAh, which is the single figure that determines whether it meets the runtime needs of a given shoot. No other capacity or voltage is offered for this model.

Charges via MH-25a or in-camera with EH-7P

It accepts charge from the MH-25 and MH-25a external chargers. When used in Z-series cameras that support in-camera charging, the EH-7P charging AC adapter can replenish the cell without removing it. The pack also fits the MB-N11, MB-N10, MB-D18, MB-D17, MB-D16, MB-D15, MB-D14 and MB-D12 battery grips, as well as the WT-7 wireless transmitter. It does not suit cameras or grips that require a different form factor or voltage.
