Compatible Canon LP-E8 Replacement

This Vivitar lithium-ion battery replaces the Canon LP-E8 pack in compatible EOS models. It delivers a 1200mAh capacity for extended shooting sessions. The rechargeable design eliminates memory effect, so partial top-ups do not reduce overall performance. It serves as a direct spare or primary power source for supported cameras.

Suitable for Rebel T2i and Similar Bodies

Photographers using Canon EOS Rebel T2i or other LP-E8 cameras gain a lightweight backup that fits the original battery compartment. Users needing higher capacity for video marathons or cold-weather endurance should consider larger packs. The single-pack format suits occasional shooters rather than studios requiring multi-bay charging sets.

No Bundled Charger or Firmware Changes

The package contains only the battery cell itself, so an existing Canon charger or compatible third-party unit is required. No software, firmware updates or adapter cables are included or needed. The sole practical change is restored shooting time whenever the cell is swapped in.
