Compatible projector models

This genuine OEM DMD/DLP chip replaces the light-engine component in Vivitek D6000 D853W DW814 projectors. It is intended for technicians or owners who need to restore image quality after the original chip has developed faults. The part arrives new and has been extensively tested at least three times to confirm a clear image with no dead pixels before shipment.

Sustained imaging reliability

Because the chip has passed repeated verification cycles it maintains consistent pixel performance during extended projection sessions rather than only during a brief power-on test. Each unit is checked to ensure that no dead pixels appear when the projector runs continuously for presentations or classroom use. The testing regime is designed to catch defects that might only emerge after the device has warmed up.

Build and installation notes

The component is supplied as a bare chip without additional housing or cables, so fitting it requires disassembly of the projector optical block. Photos in the listing are illustrative and the actual part may show minor cosmetic marks or scratches in non-critical areas that do not affect function. A 30 day warranty covers the chip against failure after installation.

Questions about this item

How much power does the DMD DLP chip draw when the projector runs all day?

The chip is a passive optical component and does not consume measurable power on its own; the projector’s lamp and electronics determine total draw.

What existing projector model must I already own for this D6000 D853W DW814 chip to work?

It is a direct replacement for Vivitek D6000, D853W and DW814 projectors; no other hardware is required.

Will the replacement chip work alongside the original optical engine and colour wheel in my older D6000 unit?

Yes, the OEM chip is tested at least three times to project a clear image with no dead pixels inside the original optical path.
