Ergonomic Arm Rest for Chair Arms

The VIVO Black Wooden Adjustable Arm Rest Mouse Pad clamps onto a chair arm up to 11.8 inches in circumference. A particle-board platform covered in black fabric holds the mouse at an ergonomic height while a 3.6 by 2 inch memory foam wrist rest supports the wrist. The tray also fits small items such as pens or a phone.

Upgrade from Desk-Only Mouse Use

This accessory replaces a flat desk surface when the chair arm is the preferred mousing location. The platform length adjusts from 19 to 21.8 inches so the mouse stays at a comfortable reach. The change is worth it when desk space is tight or when a fixed desk height forces an awkward shoulder angle.

Simple Velcro Strap Installation

Three Velcro straps wrap around the chair arm and secure the steel frame without tools. Minimal assembly is required out of the box and all hardware is included. The main issue is chairs with arms thicker than 11.8 inches or arms shaped so the straps cannot cinch tightly; the platform may also slide if the weight limit of 11 lbs is exceeded.

Questions about this item

What chair-arm circumference do the three Velcro straps support?

The straps secure the platform to chair arms up to 11.8 inches in circumference.

How is the platform attached, and what step is often missed?

Wrap the three Velcro straps around the chair arm and tighten them; the step often missed is pulling each strap snug so the tray does not shift under load.

When will the memory-foam wrist rest need replacement?

The 3.6 by 2 inch memory foam is designed to retain its shape; replace it only if the foam no longer springs back or the fabric cover wears through.
