Extra-long clamp-on tray

The VIVO Vintage Brown clamp-on keyboard tray measures 33.9 inches wide, extending to 39.4 inches including the C-clamps, and provides an 11-inch deep surface for a keyboard, mouse and small accessories. It supports up to 11 lbs and mounts beneath the desk to reclaim valuable worktop space.

Sliding mechanism and anti-skid surface

The tray slides out a maximum of 8.5 inches from the desk edge and can be positioned at a height between 1.5 and 2.75 inches below the desktop, allowing the user to set a comfortable typing angle. Anti-skid padding on the particle-board surface keeps peripherals in place while protecting the tray finish.

C-clamp installation limits

Installation uses two adjustable steel C-clamps that fit desks from 0.5 inches to 1.25 inches thick; thicker surfaces cannot be accommodated. The clamp-to-clamp span requires 39.4 inches of clear desk width, so narrower desks will not work. All mounting hardware is included for a straightforward setup.

Questions about this item

Does the particle-board tray surface need any periodic tightening or replacement?

The steel frame and particle-board tray are fixed together; no separate surface replacement is mentioned, so normal use only requires checking the clamp bolts occasionally.

What stops the tray from sliding out farther than 8.5 inches during heavy daily use?

The built-in slide mechanism limits travel to 8.5 inches from the desk edge, preventing overextension.

How warm does the steel frame get after the tray stays extended all day?

The powder-coated steel frame stays at ambient room temperature; no heat source is present in the tray assembly.
