VkingMoR VKBH129AB 2.0 USB Soundbar

The VkingMoR VKBH129AB is a compact 2.0 channel USB soundbar designed for desktop and mobile users. It delivers 10 watts of total power through dynamic drivers with a 4 ohm impedance. The unit measures 2.05 in by 1.26 in by 2.83 in and weighs 0.29 kilograms. It draws power and audio over a single USB connection.

Suits users needing portable stereo sound

This speaker suits anyone who wants a space-saving audio upgrade for a laptop, desktop, smartphone or tablet without installing drivers. The dual USB-A and USB-C connectors provide broad device compatibility. Buyers who require a separate subwoofer, surround sound, wireless streaming or a built-in battery for fully untethered use should look at other categories.

10 watt total power rating

The single specification that decides fit is the 10 watt total power output from the 2.0 configuration. This level supports clear near-field listening for music, calls and video at typical desk distances. It will not fill a large room or replace a dedicated bookshelf system. The 80 percent optimal volume guideline helps avoid distortion at maximum output.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-A or USB-C connection work with the older desktop I still use?

The soundbar includes both USB-A and USB-C cables and is compatible with Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10 as well as Mac OS and Chrome OS, so it will plug straight into legacy USB-A ports.

How can I confirm the three EQ modes and RGB lighting are functioning after I plug it in?

Press the MFB button to cycle through Bass Boost, Vocal Boost and Normal modes; a long press toggles the RGB lighting effects, giving immediate audible and visual feedback.

Does the box contain both the USB-A and USB-C cables or do I need to buy one separately?

The package includes a power cable that provides both USB-A and USB-C connectors, so no extra cable purchase is required.
