Purpose and user

The Vocas Viewfinder Extender is a camera accessory that repositions a Canon viewfinder toward the side of a Sony camera fitted with a Vocas Viewfinder Adapter. It is built for photographers and videographers who need a more comfortable eye-level position during extended shooting sessions.

Build and mounting

Precision mounting secures the extender to the adapter on the top handgrip, keeping the viewfinder stable for steady shots and accurate monitoring. The rugged construction withstands indoor and outdoor production environments while maintaining reliable alignment.

Ergonomics in use

By shifting the viewfinder laterally, the extender reduces neck strain and improves balance when operating the camera at shoulder level or on a rig. The design supports efficient monitoring during long takes without adding measurable bulk or weight.
