Practical limits of the 12V/24V interface

The strip draws 12W per metre and carries 384 LEDs per metre, so a 16.4ft run needs a power supply rated for at least 100W. Voltage drop becomes noticeable on longer single feeds, and the tape must be paired with a compatible transformer before it will operate.
