2.5G Mini PCIe Network Adapter

The Vszerda 2.5G Mini PCIe to RJ45 network card adds a single 2.5 gigabit Ethernet port to any desktop motherboard with an available Mini PCI Express slot. It targets builders who need faster wired throughput than standard gigabit without replacing the board. The low-profile bracket allows installation in slim or standard chassis.

Fits Mini PCIe Slot Only

This adapter requires a free Mini PCI Express slot and is not compatible with full-size PCI or PCI Express slots. It connects via an RJ45 jack using Cat5e or better cable up to 100 metres. The card draws power from the slot itself and needs no auxiliary power connector, leaving the full-size expansion slots untouched for other add-in cards.

Up to 2.5 Gigabit Throughput

The Realtek RTL8125B controller negotiates 2.5G, 1G, 100M or 10M speeds automatically and supports IEEE 802.3bz, VLAN tagging and PXE boot. It handles large file transfers, HD streaming and low-latency gaming on 2.5G infrastructure. Performance is limited to 1G on older switches or cables below Cat5e, and the single port cannot aggregate bandwidth.
