20 cm USB4 cable for 40 Gbps data and 240 W charging

This 20 cm USB4 cable carries 40 Gbps data, up to 240 W power and 8K 30 Hz or 5K 60 Hz video over a USB‑C male‑to‑male link. It is built for users who need maximum throughput and charging in a short, chrome‑finished cable.

Suited for USB4 or USB 3.1 hosts

Works with laptops and docks that provide USB4 or USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports supporting DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Not for hosts lacking DP Alternate Mode or devices that require longer reach or legacy USB‑A connectivity.

24‑pin USB‑C connector enables full 40 Gbps

The 24‑pin Type‑C plug delivers the complete USB4 pinout, unlocking 40 Gbps bandwidth and 28 V 5 A power delivery. Cables with fewer pins cannot reach these speeds or wattage.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need anything else to use the cable?

The box contains the 20 cm USB4 cable with male Type‑C connectors on both ends. No extra adapters or accessories are required; simply plug each end into a USB‑C port that supports the desired function.

Which version or capacity should I choose for my setup?

This model is a single 20 cm length rated for 40 Gbps data, up to 240 W power delivery at 28 V 5 A, and video up to 8K at 30 Hz or 5K at 60 Hz. Choose it if those limits match your host and display capabilities.

What does the 40 Gbps figure mean when the cable is connected to a real machine?

It means the cable can carry USB4 traffic at up to 40 Gbps between two USB4‑capable ports, so large file transfers to a compatible dock or drive can reach that ceiling when both the host and the peripheral also support the 40 Gbps rate.
