Right-Angle USB-C Cable

This 1-foot cable uses a 90-degree connector to sit flush against ports, reducing strain and keeping workspaces tidy. It carries power, data and video through a single USB Type-C male-to-male link. The braided jacket adds durability for daily connection cycles. It suits users who need a short, robust link between adjacent devices.

240 W Power and 80 Gbps Bandwidth

The cable delivers up to 240 W under PD 3.1, handling high-performance laptops and peripherals without extra adapters. Data moves at 80 Gbps, so large media files and 3D assets transfer in seconds. It runs out of headroom only when a host or device cannot negotiate the full Thunderbolt 5 or USB4 80 Gbps mode.

Thunderbolt 5 and USB4 Limits

The link tops out at 80 Gbps and 240 W, matching the current ceiling of the Thunderbolt 5 and USB4 standards it supports. Video output reaches dual 8K or triple 16K at 144 Hz, but only if both source and sink implement the matching display protocol. Older Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3 hosts will restrict speed and power to their own lower specifications.

Questions about this item

Will the 80 Gbps right-angle cable still deliver full speed when I connect it to my existing Thunderbolt 4 dock and 8K monitor?

Yes — the cable supports 80 Gbps bi-directional bandwidth and is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 4, USB4 and USB-C, so your dock and 8K display will run at their rated speeds.

How can I confirm the 240 W power delivery is actually negotiating after I plug the 90° connector into my laptop?

Check your laptop's power meter or OS battery settings; they should show a charge rate up to 240 W when PD 3.1 handshake completes.

Does the 1 ft braided cable come with any adapters or do I need to buy a separate Thunderbolt 3 adapter for older gear?

The box contains only the male-to-male USB-C cable; no adapters are included, so a Thunderbolt 3 adapter must be purchased separately if required.
