What this enclosure does and who needs it
The Vszerda 3.5 inch SATA enclosure connects a 3.5 or 2.5 inch SATA I, II or III HDD or SSD to a PC, laptop, PS5, PS4, PS4 Pro, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 or router with a USB 3.0 port. It supports drives up to 20 TB and works with Windows 10, 8, 7, XP, Vista, Mac OS 9, 10, 11, ChromeOS and Linux. It is not for IDE, mSATA, M.2 or other interface drives.
Check your drive and host before ordering
Verify that the drive you intend to use has a SATA connector and does not exceed 20 TB. Confirm the host device provides a USB Type-A port and that its operating system is listed above. The enclosure requires the included 12 V 24 W power adapter, so a mains socket must be available. Routers must support the drive’s file system and a USB 3.0 interface.
Build quality and daily use
The case uses ABS plastic with ventilation holes on the bottom and sides plus four non-slip rubber feet. Two shock-proof sponges inside the lid cushion the drive. An LED shows activity and the unit enters automatic sleep; press the switch button to wake it. A USB 3.0 Type-B cable and the power adapter are included.

Questions about this item
Does the Vszerda 3.5 inch enclosure include a power adapter and cable, or must I buy them separately?
The box contains the enclosure, a 12V 2A DC power adapter, a USB 3.0 data cable and a user manual, so no extra purchases are required.
Should I choose the 20 TB limit model if my drive is smaller?
The enclosure supports any 3.5 or 2.5 inch SATA HDD or SSD up to 20 TB, so a smaller drive works without issue.
What does the 500 MB/S headline speed mean when the enclosure is connected to my PC?
The 500 MB/S figure is the tested maximum read speed using UASP; actual throughput depends on the drive and the host USB 3.0 port.
