Adds four Gigabit Ethernet ports via an M.2 M+B key slot using a Realtek RTL8111H chipset
This Vszerda SI-PEX24092 network card adds four Gigabit Ethernet connections through a single M.2 slot. The Realtek RTL8111H chipset drives each port at up to 1000 megabits per second. Installation fits into an M+B key M.2 socket on a desktop motherboard. A driver CD and manual are included in the package.
Builders who need link aggregation, fail-over or separate VLANs on one board will use the four ports. Systems without a free M.2 M+B key slot cannot accept this card. Buyers who want wireless connectivity or fibre uplinks should look at something else. Laptops and small-form-factor boards lacking the required M.2 keying are also incompatible.
The RTL8111H controller provides the 1000 megabit per second throughput and supports Wake-On-LAN, Energy-Efficient Ethernet and jumbo frames. Driver support for your operating system determines whether those features work. If the OS lacks a driver for the 8111H, the card will not function as intended.

The package includes a CD driver disc and a user manual; the Realtek RTL8111H chipset also supports plug-and-play operation on most modern systems so the disc is only needed for legacy installs
The card uses an M+B key design so it fits either an M-key or a B-key M.2 slot on the motherboard
Each of the four ports can negotiate a full 1000 Mbps link, giving up to 1 Gbps per port for aggregation, load balancing or redundancy using the Realtek RTL8111H controller
