Vszerda 4-Port PCIe USB 3.0 Card
This Vszerda expansion card adds four external USB 3.0 ports to a desktop computer via a single-lane PCI Express Gen2 slot. It includes both a 9.5mm low-profile bracket and a standard bracket for different chassis types. Each port delivers up to 5000 Mbps SuperSpeed data transfer and 900mA power output. A SATA or IDE power connector is required for operation.
Suits builds needing extra USB 3.0 ports on x1 slot
Ideal for Windows 7, 8, or 10 systems (32-bit or 64-bit) that have a free PCIe x1 slot and an available SATA or IDE power lead. The card supports USB 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0 devices simultaneously. Builders without a spare internal power connector or an open PCIe x1 lane should look at other solutions.
Requires NEC USB 3.0 driver installation
The card will not function until the NEC USB 3.0 driver is installed on the host operating system. This software step is mandatory for the controller to enumerate connected devices. Plan for this setup requirement before purchasing.

Questions about this item
Does the SATA power connector supply the full 900mA to each of the four USB 3.0 ports simultaneously?
Yes, the SATA or IDE power connector delivers +/-5V at 900mA per port, so all four external USB 3.0 ports can provide the full current at the same time.
Do I need a spare PCI Express x1 slot running at Gen2 speed to use this card?
The card plugs into any single-lane PCI Express x1 slot and operates in Gen2 mode, so a free x1 slot on the motherboard is required.
Will the card work with USB 2.0 peripherals such as older keyboards or printers?
Yes, the adapter is compatible with USB 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0 devices, so legacy peripherals will function normally at their rated speeds.
