Four-Port PCIe x1 USB 3.0 Adapter
This Vszerda expansion card adds four external USB 3.0 ports through a single-lane PCI Express Gen2 slot. It suits desktop owners who need more SuperSpeed connections for peripherals such as external drives, cameras or input devices. The board fits any standard x1 or larger slot and requires a VLI driver installation under Windows 7, 8 or 10 (32-bit or 64-bit).
Powered by SATA or IDE connector
Each port delivers up to 900 mA at 5 V, so bus-powered devices can operate without an extra wall adapter. Power is drawn from a standard SATA or IDE power connector on the PSU, meaning cable routing stays inside the case. The bracket presents four Type-A sockets spaced for simultaneous use of typical plugs.
Limited to 5 Gbps aggregate bandwidth
The x1 Gen2 link caps total throughput at 5000 Mbps shared across all four ports, so simultaneous high-speed transfers will contend for bandwidth. Ports negotiate down to 480 Mbps, 12 Mbps or 1.5 Mbps for USB 2.0, 1.1 and low-speed devices respectively. No internal header cables are included; the card provides only the external rear-facing ports.

Questions about this item
What PCI Express generation and lane width does this card use?
It runs on a single-lane PCI Express Gen2 interface, so the four USB 3.0 ports share one 5 Gbps upstream link.
Which internal power connector must be free on the power supply?
A spare SATA power connector is required; the card also accepts an IDE power plug if that is what the PSU provides.
Which driver must be installed before the card works in Windows?
The VLI USB 3.0 driver has to be installed first; after that Windows 7, 8 or 10 (32-bit or 64-bit) will recognise all four ports.
