Vszerda 7-Port PCIe to USB 3.0 Expansion Card

SKU CH-P77W-C2J1A

Adds seven USB 3.0 Type-A ports via a PCI Express x1 slot, each delivering up to 5 Gbps and 900 mA

  • Add seven USB 3.0 ports through a single PCI Express x1 slot
  • Each port delivers up to 900 mA at 5 V for power-hungry devices
  • Works with USB 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0 peripherals without extra cables
  • Compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10 on 32 and 64 bit systems
  • Requires RENESAS or VLI driver installation before use

Seven USB 3.0 ports on one PCIe card

The Vszerda expansion card adds seven USB 3.0 Type-A ports to a desktop computer through a single PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot. It is designed for users who need more high-speed connections for external drives, peripherals or charging without opening the case for internal hubs.

Bandwidth limited to one PCIe 2.0 lane

The card operates on a single PCI Express 2.0 x1 lane, so the combined throughput of all seven ports cannot exceed 5 Gbps. Each port delivers up to 900 mA at 5 V, and no extra power connector is required, but heavy simultaneous transfers will share the single lane bandwidth.

Driver installation required before use

The RENESAS or VLI USB 3.0 driver must be installed on the host system before the card will function. Supported operating systems are Windows 7, 8 and 10 in both 32-bit and 64-bit editions.

Questions about this item

Should I pick a card with fewer ports or this 7-port version?

Choose the 7-port model when you need to connect many USB 3.0 devices at once; each port delivers up to 900 mA at 5 V.

What does the 5 Gbps rating mean once the card is installed?

The card uses a PCI Express 2.0 x1 link, so the 5 Gbps USB 3.0 signalling rate is the practical ceiling for every attached device.

Which PCIe slot standard does the adapter use and what bandwidth does it limit me to?

It plugs into any PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot, capping total throughput to the single-lane 5 Gbps USB 3.0 maximum.
