Questions about this item

How loud does the 855966-001 fan run when the laptop is under load all day?

The fan is a direct replacement for the original HP Pavilion X360 13-U cooling unit and operates at the same acoustic level as the factory part.

Do I need any extra screws or thermal paste to install this fan in my 13-U018TU?

The package includes only the CPU fan itself; you will reuse the existing mounting screws and should apply fresh thermal paste to the processor.

Will this cooler fit the narrower chassis of the M3-U001DX without blocking the 360-degree hinge?

It matches the OEM dimensions for the entire Pavilion X360 13-U and M3-U series, so the hinge and surrounding components clear normally.
