Replacement CPU+GPU Fan for 2020 Legion Laptops

This 12V 0.8A cooling fan replaces the original CPU and GPU cooler in compatible 2020 Lenovo Legion models. It fits the Legion 5i, Legion 5 15IMH05H, Y7000P, Y7000, R7000 2020H and Y550-15E series. The part matches OEM numbers 5F10S13914, DFS2400125Q0T, FN50, DFSCK22115181Q and FN51. Buyers must verify the part number against their device before ordering.

Single Combined Fan Unit in Package

The package contains one integrated CPU+GPU fan assembly, so both processor and graphics chip share a single replacement module. No additional screws, thermal pads or cables are supplied, meaning installers must reuse existing mounting hardware and thermal interface material. This simplifies the swap but requires careful handling of the original fixings.

12V 0.8A Rating for Direct Motherboard Power

The fan draws 0.8 amps at 12 volts, matching the motherboard header specification for these 2020 chassis. It provides adequate airflow for stock clock speeds on the supported platforms. Systems running sustained heavy loads or overclocked configurations may exceed the thermal capacity of this single-fan design.

Questions about this item

How often will the 12V 0.8A dual fan assembly need to be replaced under normal use?

The fan is a mechanical component; lifespan varies with workload and dust buildup. Many users replace it when bearing noise appears or RPM drops below spec.

What thermal limit is reached first when the CPU and GPU share this single 12V 0.8A fan during extended loads?

The shared heatsink saturates before the fan hits its maximum RPM, so the GPU temperature typically plateaus first.

How much acoustic noise and heat does the 12V 0.8A fan add when running continuously at full speed?

At full PWM duty the fan produces a noticeable but moderate whir; case surface temperatures rise slightly as exhaust air recirculates.
