DB15 Male Breakout Connector

The Vszerda DB15 Male Breakout Converter turns a DB15 female port with positioning screws into a 15-position screw terminal block. No soldering is required; stranded or solid-core wire is secured with a small screwdriver. The kit includes the breakout board in a black plastic case, a nylon cable pressing plate, two screws, two long bolts and a screwdriver.

Screw Terminal Wiring Limits

The board accepts wire up to 10.45 mm in diameter and the stern tube hole measures 10 mm. The enclosure dimensions are 59 x 41 x 20 mm, which sets the maximum cable bundle size that can pass through the strain-relief opening. All 15 signal positions are clearly numbered on the PCB for straightforward identification during assembly.

Enclosed PCB Terminal Build

The double-sided FR-4 fibre-glass PCB uses an all-copper matrix with gold-plated DB15 pins for oxidation-resistant contact. A widened, bolded case snaps shut firmly and the cable buckle anchors to the nylon pressing plate so fastening forces never stress the crimp points.
