NGFF M.2 A-Key Cable for EXP GDC Dock
This NGFF M.2 A-Key cable connects a Vszerda EXP GDC external graphics dock to a laptop with a compatible slot. It carries a single PCI-E x1 lane to the dock’s PCI-E x16 slot so a desktop graphics card can be used with the notebook. The cable is sold separately from the dock and power cables.
Who this suits and who it does not
Builders whose laptop exposes an NGFF M.2 A-Key slot and who already own the EXP GDC board and a suitable power supply can use this cable to complete the link. Buyers whose machine only offers Mini PCI-E or ExpressCard must choose the matching cable variant instead.
Critical specification check
Verify that the laptop provides an NGFF M.2 A-Key interface; the 26-pin cable will not fit B-Key, M-Key or Mini PCI-E slots. The dock itself accepts PCI-E x16 cards but runs at x1 electrical speed through this adapter.

Questions about this item
Does the NGFF M.2 A-Key cable connect to a 26-pin Mini PCI-E slot?
The cable is an NGFF M.2 A-Key variant; the 26-pin interface belongs to the separate Mini PCI-E cable option, not this one.
Which screw secures the M.2 A-Key connector to the laptop motherboard?
Use the existing M.2 mounting screw on your laptop; align the A-Key notch, insert at an angle, then tighten that screw to lock the cable in place.
Will the 6-pin and 8-pin power cables need replacement if I upgrade the graphics card later?
The 6-pin and 8-pin leads are standard PCIe power cables; they stay with the dock and work with any card that uses the same connectors.
