Vszerda HDMI to VGA Active Adapter 15 cm 1080p

SKU CH-H40S-SSM5G

Active adapter converts HDMI to VGA at up to 1080p with a short 15 cm cable for compact setups

  • Active DAC chip converts digital HDMI to analog VGA signal
  • 15 cm short cable reduces strain on source port and avoids blocking adjacent ports
  • Supports up to 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution for sharp display output
  • Backward compatible with 720p and 1600 x 1200 resolutions for wider monitor support
  • Connects HDMI source devices to VGA projectors, CRT or LCD monitors

Compact adapter for HDMI sources to VGA displays

This active converter connects HDMI-equipped computers, laptops or media players to VGA monitors and projectors. The 15 cm cable reduces strain on the source port and avoids blocking adjacent connectors. It is suited for users adding a legacy display to a modern HDMI output.

Passive cooling with no external power

The built-in chipset handles digital-to-analogue conversion without a separate power supply. No fan is present, so operation is silent. Power draw is limited to what the HDMI port provides, keeping thermals negligible in normal use.

Maximum supported resolution 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz

The adapter outputs up to 1080p Full HD and scales down to 720p or 1600 x 1200 where needed. Buyers who need higher resolutions such as 1440p or 4K, or who require audio extraction, should choose a different device.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 15 cm Vszerda HDMI to VGA active adapter without stressing the source port?

Plug the HDMI male end directly into the computer or laptop; the short 15 cm cable reduces leverage on the port and avoids blocking adjacent connectors. No external power is required because the built-in chipset draws what it needs from the HDMI source.

What maintenance or replacement will the Vszerda HDMI to VGA adapter need over time?

The adapter has no moving parts, no firmware and no user-serviceable components; if the cable sheath frays or the connectors become loose after repeated insertion cycles, replace the whole unit.

What is the first limit I will hit when driving the Vszerda adapter continuously at 1920x1080?

The built-in DAC chipset is rated for a maximum output of 1080p; sustained operation at that resolution is within spec, so the practical limit is the 15 cm cable length, which restricts how far the VGA display can sit from the source.
