20 cm USB4 cable for tight spaces

This 20 cm USB4 cable connects USB-C devices over short distances. It supports up to 20 Gbps data transfer and 140 W power delivery. The ultra-soft silicone jacket makes routing easy in cramped setups. It suits users who need a short, flexible link between host and peripheral.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

It fits laptop owners who want a compact cable for docking stations, monitors or high-power charging. The male-to-male design works for direct device-to-device links. Buyers who need a longer reach for desk routing should choose a different length.

20 Gbps USB4 speed decides fit

The cable delivers 20 Gbps throughput, so it matches USB4 hosts that require full bandwidth. It also carries 8K video at 60 Hz when the monitor supports DP Alternate Mode. If your port only runs at lower speeds, a simpler cable will suffice.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 4.8 mm diameter cable need behind a laptop?

The ultra-soft silicone jacket is only 4.8 mm thick and bends sharply, so it fits behind a laptop or in a tight cable channel without forcing the port.

Which orientation do the 24-pin USB-C male plugs require for 20 Gbps data?

Both plugs are identical and reversible; insert either end into the host and the other into the device — no keying or up/down alignment is needed.

When should the cable be replaced if it carries 140 W charging daily?

Inspect the silicone jacket and connectors every few months; replace the cable if the jacket shows cuts, the plugs feel loose, or charging negotiations drop below the rated 28 V / 5 A.
