MicroSD to Mini PCIe adapter
The Vszerda MR14 converts a Mini PCI Express slot into a dual MicroSD card reader for laptops. It integrates a flash card controller with a hardware DMA engine and onboard voltage regulation. The board fits any half-size Mini PCIe socket without a bracket. Two MicroSD cards can be installed simultaneously for expanded storage or ReadyBoost caching.
USB 2.0 interface limits
Data moves over a USB 2.0 high-speed link inside the Mini PCIe connector, so throughput tops out at the 2.0 bulk-endpoint rate. The adapter is backward compatible with USB 1.1 hosts but cannot reach USB 3.x or PCIe-native speeds. It complies with the USB Mass Storage Bulk-Only 1.0 class and SD specification 3.0 for SDXC cards.
Dual MicroSD slot capacity
Two card slots are provided, letting you populate both or just one depending on the storage you need. Each slot accepts MicroSD, MicroSDHC or MicroSDXC media up to the SD 3.0 limit. Buyers who need a single-slot design or native PCIe signalling should choose a different adapter.

Questions about this item
One slot or two — which capacity setup should I pick?
The MR14 has two MicroSD slots so you can run two cards at once; total capacity depends on the cards you install.
What does the USB 2.0 High Speed label mean for real transfer speeds?
The adapter connects over USB 2.0 High Speed, so the bus limits throughput to the USB 2.0 maximum.
It fits a Mini PCIe slot — what interface does it actually use?
It presents a USB 2.0 device to the Mini PCIe connector and is backward compatible with USB 1.1.
