M.2 Key B to Mini PCI-E Adapter for WWAN Modules

This Vszerda N42203 adapter lets you install an M.2 Key B WWAN module into a full-size or half-size Mini PCI-E slot. It carries the USB interface from the module to the host system and supports 3042 and 3052 form factors. No extra power is needed and a screw kit is included.

For adding cellular or GNSS cards to Mini PCI-E

Suits builders who want to use 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, GPS or WiMAX modules with a USB interface in a laptop or desktop that only has an mPCIe slot. Not for users who need PCIe lane connectivity or who are fitting M.2 Key M or Key E cards.

USB-only signal path through the M.2 Key B connector

The adapter passes USB signals from a Socket 2 SSIC-based WWAN card to the Mini PCI-E edge connector. This single interface decision determines whether your module will function.

Yes, it supports both full-size and half-size mPCIe slots and accepts 3042/3052 type M.2 Key B cards over USB.

How can I confirm the M.2 WWAN module is recognised after installing the adapter?
