- One-key offline clone copies data without a computer
- Dual-bay dock reads two NVMe drives simultaneously up to 8 TB each
- 10 Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 delivers up to 1000 MB/s with C-to-C cable
- UASP acceleration keeps NVMe SSDs running quickly and stably
- Supports M-key and B&M-key drives in 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 form factors
Dual-Bay NVMe Duplicator
The Vszerda docking station accepts two M-key or B-and-M-key NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 form factors. It operates as an offline cloner or as a dual-bay dock connected via USB-C or USB-A. SATA SSDs are not supported. Builders needing SATA protocol support or single-bay enclosures should look elsewhere.
Sustained Transfer Behaviour
Offline cloning starts by holding the clone button for three to five seconds; LED indicators show progress until the target drive matches the source. When docked to a host, the USB 3.1 Gen 2 link delivers up to 1000 MB/s with a C-to-C cable and up to 500 MB/s with a C-to-A cable. UASP acceleration helps maintain consistent throughput during long read or write sessions.
Build and Connectivity
The enclosure ships with both a USB-C-to-C cable and a USB-C-to-A cable for flexible host connection. Each bay accommodates drives up to 8 TB capacity. Tool-free insertion lets users swap modules quickly, while the offline clone function works without any host computer attached. Users without a USB-C port on their system cannot reach the highest transfer rate.

Questions about this item
How much heat or noise does the Vszerda NVMe duplicator produce when both bays run all day?
The unit has no fan; it relies on passive aluminium cooling, so it stays silent and only warm to the touch during continuous cloning or dual-drive access.
Which host ports and cables must I already have to reach the stated 10 Gbps speed?
You need a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port on the host and the supplied C-to-C cable; the included C-to-A cable limits throughput to about 500 MB/s.
Will my older M.2 2242 and 2260 NVMe drives work alongside a new 2280 drive in the two bays?
Yes, each slot accepts M-key or B&M-key NVMe modules in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths, so mixed form factors clone or read simultaneously.
