This Vszerda SA-025 enclosure lets you add a second SATA drive to a laptop by using the 9.5mm optical bay. It accepts one M.2 NGFF SSD with B-key or B/M-key socket, or one mSATA SSD, converting either to a standard SATA connection. The unit is new and requires no extra cables, power supply or drivers.

Fits laptops with a 9.5mm SATA optical slot

Builders upgrading a notebook that still has a 9.5mm SATA optical drive bay can install a second drive for extra storage or a dual-boot system. The caddy will not work in thinner slots, in systems without an internal SATA port, or for users who need to run an M.2 NGFF and an mSATA drive simultaneously.

B-key or B/M-key NGFF only

The adapter only works with B-key or B/M-key socket NGFF SSDs; M-key-only NGFF SSDs are not supported. A physical switch selects between the NGFF and mSATA interfaces because both cannot operate at the same time.
