FlexStack Cable for Catalyst 2960 Series

This Vszerda stacking cable connects Cisco Catalyst 2960-S, 2960-X and 2960-XR switches in a single logical stack. It also supports Blade Switch 3120G, 3120X and Switch Module 3110G or 3110X. The 0.5 m length suits adjacent rack mounting.

Stack bandwidth and switch limits

Up to 20 Gbps is available on 2960-S and 2960-SF models using the C2960S-STACK or 2960S-F-STACK module. FlexStack Plus or extended hybrid modules raise throughput to 40 Gbps on 2960-X and 2960-XR hardware. The architecture supports a maximum of eight switches per stack.

Module-dependent speed selection

The cable itself is passive; actual throughput is determined by the stacking module installed in each switch. Verify whether your chassis uses C2960S-STACK, 2960S-F-STACK, C2960X-STACK or C2960X-HYBRID-STK before ordering.
